Life, as an entrepreneur, can be overwhelming at times. We have to be designers, writers, publishers, seo’s, and media moguls amongst so many other necessary business skills (of which many of us have zero qualifications for).
As a personal trainer my priority has to be my clients, but as an online personal trainer, I also need so focus some energy on my brand.
When I started my website, it was a bit of a mishmash, with no apparent design or colour scheme. Sounds familiar?
Having come out the other side and created a beautiful, luxury nutrition and personal training brand, I have two tips that hold firm:
One, take some photos of yourself that represent you and your brand. For me this was an early morning (perfect light) session in the conservatory, throwing fruit in the air (might sound crazy but it surprisingly worked –https://42reset.com/about-kate).
Now that you have your face on your webpage, find some ‘free for commercial use' photos that match the photos you just took. For me, several of Pineapple Supply Co.'s photos caught my eye (okay, maybe I also have a secret obsession with the positivity and tropical vibes of the pineapple – but who doesn't?).
Once you have selected your photos, use them in as many different ways as possible – photoshop them, layer them, write over them, cut, paste and rework them until your brand has a clear theme, or thread running through it.
For example, you can now see Pineapple Supply Co.'s photos dotted all over my brand https://42reset.com . From my Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest headers to my main webpage, these beautiful photos have developed my colour scheme and my brand as a whole.
