FilterGrade x Pineapples: You’ve got photos. Let’s make them awesome.

FilterGrade x Pineapples: You’ve got photos. Let’s make them awesome.

Back at the early part of the year, I was working on 100 days of hustle to force myself to get creative every day. It was in this period of time that I was introduced to FilterGrade on the WooThemes blog.

After about 4 minutes, FilterGrade had a new fan. It was refreshing to find something outside of the VSCO realm of photo-editing, but still stay super simple. VSCO had become so huge and I couldn't afford to fork up $100 for their tools (each).  FilterGrade offers high-quality Photoshop actions for creatives in a normal price-range. You can literally improve your photos with hundreds of actions and effects for Photoshop (and now Lightroom too).

Fast-forward 8 months and I find myself using FilterGrade's actions all the time in my pineapple photography and more. With a persistent drive to help other people improve their photography, I've always felt it important to be transparent with my photo-editing.

FilterGrade x Pineapples

Pineapples is a fun and light-hearted project that craves creative exploration. This is why it was such a great idea to join forces with FilterGrade and consistently share more about my process and explore the potential to help make your photos awesome! There are definitely some specific sets and bundles that feel like Mike had my pineapple photos in mind when making creating them.

It's exciting to use pineapples as a catalyst for helping you improve your own photography too.

Supporting Pineapples

Part of this partnership is that Pineapples will be an affiliate for FilterGrade. If you follow our links to FilterGrade (like this one) and make a purchase, we'll earn a commission. Anything we earn will go right back into supporting the development and continuation of our photography and website.

If you're new to FilterGrade, you can go to filtergrade.com and sign up for their newsletter to get a pack of their actions for free. Mike is super awesome with hooking you up to try out their product.

I hope this partnership with FilterGrade helps you to see that there are awesome creative possibilities for your photos and for editing photos you might find on free photo sites.  It's also my hope that you feel confident that you can flesh out the vision you had for the photo at the time of taking it.

I couldn't be happier to see you make something awesome with your photos!
